VORTEC is the name for the committee formed by the On Road R/C clubs in Melbourne.
Our charter is to provide a set of rules for Electric and Nitro On Road R/C racing in Victoria and to administer and promote On Road racing for the good of the hobby.

Mini class will remain unchanged. 540 Novice class will cease to be a VORTEC class. 540 Pro will remain unchanged except the name will be 540.. Current Stock and Super Stock classes will disappear as they are now and will be replaced Class 1 will use a 21.5 turn motor, with any timing and with any other wise legal ESC, timing Class 2 will use a 13.5 turn motor, with any timing and with any other wise legal ESC, timing Modified class will stay as is just renamed to Open. Class names will be: Mini, 540, 21.5turn, 13.5turn and Open All touring car classes will have a minimum weight of 1350g including transponder (club or personal). All these changes will take effect from 1st of Jan 2011. SERCCC Contact details in Clubs section have also been updated. |
